Ingegneria Sismica (ISSN 0393-1420) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal founded in 1984 by Professor D. Benedetti at the Politecnico di Milano. It is dedicated to the dissemination of original research and developments in the field of earthquake engineering and related areas. All submitted papers undergo a rigorous anonymous peer-review process to ensure academic integrity and quality. The journal is widely recognized and indexed in several prestigious databases, including Scopus, Ei Compendex (Engineering Village), the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) within the Web of Science, and Essential Science Indicators (ESI), reflecting its strong international presence and scholarly impact. Beginning in 2024, Ingegneria Sismica will be published as an open access journal with no fees for authors or readers.
